A Scarlatti Soirée - Pnina Becher November 2017

The famous American pianist Pnina Becher will come to Portugal to present her program Piano Reserva - A Scarlatti Soirée on November 18, 2017, at the Hotel Palácio Estoril.

Scarlatti Soirée arose from the artist's desire to take her audience on a trip to the glamorous musical nights of days gone by, in which the lights were still candlelight, the spacious tables were covered with noble table cloths and the wines were tasted to the sound of compositions that won the courts of European royalty.

The concert is divided into five musical stages, accompanied by five wines with different characters, therefore creating an environment as if it were a history of ancient times - allowing the perfect combination between music and the best Portuguese reserve wines.

This special night will have as a musical background, the compositions of Domenico Scarlatti who chose Portugal as his residence during ten years of his career. Joyful, crystalline and rhythmically complex,  pianists who venture to play them, are few.

At dinner after the concert, there will be an opportunity to engage with the pianist Pnina Becher, all in the company of the best Portuguese wines.
